HSE MANAGER

Responsibilities

Rossco Crane & Rigging is looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across our crane, rigging, and heavy haul operations. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can support field teams, strengthen our safety culture, and ensure compliance with OSHA and industry standards.

Requirements

• Leads development of and clearly articulates the Company’s safety vision, objectives, strategies, policies, and procedures to build a safety culture dedicated to behaviors that lead to best-in-class results.
• Provides proactive leadership and assumes ownership of building a best-in-class safety culture.
• Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and conclusions, and monitors results to make improvements or take corrective action.
• Ensures safety & health training meets the needs of internal and external (client & regulating entities) requirements, so staff have the safety training to safely perform tasks and jobs.
• Leads incident investigations.
• Manages hazard assessment activities by:1) Conducting and/or supervising safety inspections2) Analyzing inspection and incident data to identify opportunities to develop preventive and corrective practices.
• Develops annual plans & budgets for safety & health initiatives, including training. Manages workers comp & vehicle claims.
• Manages Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
• Manages return to work/restricted duty program.
• Leads or participates in the Safety Committee.
