Fleet Mechanic

Responsibilities

Rossco Crane & Rigging is looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to help keep our cranes, trucks, and heavy equipment operating safely and reliably. We’re looking for a skilled individual who takes pride in quality work, enjoys diagnosing and repairing equipment, and is committed to keeping our fleet ready for every job.

Requirements

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair cranes, trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
• Complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Work closely with operators and field personnel to keep equipment job-ready.
• Assist with welding, fabrication, and other shop repairs as needed.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
