Class A Winch Truck Operator

Responsibilities

Rossco Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking safety-focused Class A Winch Truck Operators to support hauling and lifting operations across oil field, industrial, and construction job sites. Operators are responsible for safely operating Class A winch trucks to haul, load, and secure equipment and materials while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate driving and delivery records, assisting with rigging, lifting, and job-site setup as needed, communicating effectively with dispatch and job-site crews, and keeping trucks and equipment clean and in proper working condition at all times.

Requirements

Certifications/Years of Experience:

• Valid Class A CDL required (current and in good standing)
• Winch truck operating experience preferred (1–3 years experience)
• Experience hauling, loading, and securing equipment or materials (1+ year experience)
• Experience performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining DOT-compliant records (1+ year experience)

Eligibility & Preferences:

• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Clean driving record that qualifies under company insurance
• Minimum age of 21 years
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to DOT and company safety protocols
• Ability to assist with rigging and lifting operations as needed
• Effective communication with dispatch and job site crews
